My goal of this blog is to keep everyone up to date with our pregnancy of our first child. We found out on July 16, 2008 that we were pregnant. Two HPT later Ray was finally convinced. We had to wait 2 loooonnnggg weeks for our first ultrasound on Monday August 4th which put me at 6 weeks and 1 day. The day finally arrived and Ray and I met our OBGYN who we very pleased with. She did an internal ultrasound and saw one sac with a flicker of a heart beat and one sac that appeared empty (second picture displayed). She told us about "vanishing twin" and told us we could come back in a couple of days for another ultrasound because alot can change in a matter of days. I went back on Thursday 6weeks and 3 days and the doctor saw two sacs with two heartbeats. Baby A measured 6mm and had a heart beat of 119. Baby B measured 8mm and had a heartbeat of 129. We were told that its still really early but the measurements appear healthy (first picture displayed). We can't wait for our next OB appointment on August 18th.
